Melanie Buford is an Author, Leadership Educator and Career Coach. She is lead editor on the upcoming Routledge volume: Mapping the Future of Undergraduate Career Education: Equitable Career Learning, Development, and Preparation in the New World of Work. Her work has been featured in both academic and practitioner journals, and by popular career outlets such as Puttylike, Truity and the Happen to Your Career Podcast series. She is the recipient of the Ralph W. Tyler Award for outstanding research and publication and the Kenneth B. Hoyt Career Education Practitioner Award for excellence in the practice of career education. Melanie is a Level Lead and Instructor at the Leadership Minor at the University of Minnesota--Twin Cities. She also writes fiction, and is developing a novel in the fantasy genre.
